[You get a blank stare. He gets the term "defensive treaty", though not the real meaning of it, but Latvia and Estonia both belong to him. That are completely different types of treaties, and most of them were between him and Lithuania, anyway.]

I talked about it w'th Livonia, and h' said that h' 's Latvia now. But the old agreements and treaties 're still in effect.

He is. 'n as long as he said it was all right. Like an agreement. You can't go around violating sovereignty, s'all.

Well, it might not be his intentionally scary look, but Sweden gets so intense sometimes that he's intimidating. And scary.
Though it doesn't really faze Norway, he's had the benefit of seeing it before. But then, he's probably also immune to intentionally black looks.
